CHCA Call for Presentations Form

Are you interested in presenting a program for the Colorado Health Care Association? In addition to our Fall Convention. CHCA offers over 20 freestanding educational programs each year on a variety of topics and for a wide range of audiences.

As a speaker you potentially will reach over 3000 active members in both Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities environments inclusive of Cooperate facilitators, physicians, state employees and staff within our membership.

We invite you to become a part of our educational programs by submitting your presentation for consideration.

Requests for Presentation will be reviewed for inclusion at the Annual Convention or other CHCA educational seminars offered throughout the year. All presentations will be kept on file and, if not selected for the Fall Convention, will be considered for other speaking opportunities.

Please note the call for presentations intended for Fall 2021 need to be submitted no later than May 15th, 2022

CHCA 2024 Call for Presentations Form

  • How long will your presentation be? Presentations at Fall Conventions are expected to be 80 to 90 Minutes
  • In 150 words or less, provide a summary of the seminar’s content. The summary must include a concise description of content which explains the value of the information and identifies new or unique applications, and a description of the learning techniques that will be used to encourage discussion, participation and learning.
  • For over a quarter of a century, Colorado Health Care Association has earned its reputation for providing high quality educational programs. We select faculty/speakers who share their expertise for the overall benefit of the long-term care profession. Therefore, CHCA rarely pays per diem, honoraria, or expenses. The Convention speakers’ budget is limited and only some keynote speakers and some selected, highly sought-after, expert speakers may be paid for their presentation. If you require or expect an honoraria or reimbursement for any of your expenses, you must indicate that on your application.
