2025 Spotlight on Excellence Nominations

The Colorado Health Care Association hosts the Annual Spotlight on Excellence Awards Ceremony to recognize excellence throughout the long-term care profession within our communities. CHCA is committed to showing appreciation to the deserving, extraordinary individuals and their efforts to commit themselves to the care of their residents and community. To acknowledge  your dedicated team members, please nominate those in your organization.

Spotlight on Excellence FAQ

Q) How many individuals may be nominated from each facility?

A) There is no limit to the number of nominees you may submit.

Q) Who may submit a nominee?

A) Any individual who is currently employed at a Nursing Home or Assisted Living Facility that is a Member of the Colorado Health Care Association may submit a nominee (an individual may not nominate themselves). Please note that all nominees must have been with their current organization for at least one year.

Q) Do Finalists have to attend the Fall Convention and the Awards Gala?

A) Finalists have the option to register to attend the Fall Convention (Tiered Facility Fee Varies) and the Award Ceremony ($75 per attendee) , or to only attend the Spotlight on Excellence Awards Gala ($150).  Any additional facility members must be registered to attend Fall Convention in order to sign up to attend the banquet. Family and friends of the Finalist who are not currently employed by a member facility of CHCA may sign up just to attend the banquet.

Please submit all nominations by July 31st, 2025.
