POSITION TYPE

Full Time, 40 hours per week, 8 to 10-hour shifts

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Colorado or compact Licensed Practical or Registered Nurse, BLS certification

COMPENSATION BASE RATE

$27.00 to $45.50 dependent on experience (includes shift differentials)

$3,000 sign on bonus available to individuals not employed at Hillcrest Care Center & The Towers in the last 36 months, with full-time employment & 1-year commitment.

Job Description:
Develop, implement, and maintain a facility-wide infection prevention and control program. Develop, implement, and maintain an effective training program for all new and existing staff, contracted staff, and volunteers, consistent with their expected roles and requirements set forth by state and federal regulations.

Essential Duties include but not limited to:
On-call
Develop & implement facility-wide infection prevention plan
Create & update infection prevention policies & procedures
Ensure availability of necessary supplies
Investigate outbreaks
Coordinate & collaborate with healthcare team & public health
Facilitate education & training for staff, residents, and families
Participate in quality improvement
Maintain training & competency records
Facilitate employee support & professional development
