Director of Nursing

In a Green House nursing homes our Director of Nursing is a partner in envisioning, creating, and optimizing caring homes for meaningful lives for our community of elders (48 residents). QUALIFICATIONS:
Active Registered Nurse licensure for the state of Colorado.
Experience leading and mentoring teams.
Ability to communicate and comprehend.
Experience and knowledge of basic nursing skills; knowledge and familiarity with the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
Experience and knowledge of Federal and State nursing home regulations and standards of practice.
Experience and knowledge of Performance Improvement plans and organization.
Knowledge of computer systems including Point Click Care.

SUMMARY OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:
Coordinate Elder care with Clinical Support Team members and the C.N.A.’s/Shahbazim for each house.
Perform administrative duties such as: completing medical documents, reports, evaluations, studies, charting, etc.
Evaluate accident/incident reports and assist in developing solutions.
Assure adequate supplies are available including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, elder personal supplies and equipment.
Assist in the preparation of plan of care for each Elder.
Coordinate with outside agencies including but not limited to: hospitals, hospice, home health, lab, x-ray, DME companies.

SUPERVISORY
Develop, organize, implement, evaluate, coach, support and hold accountable the Clinical Support Team.
Develop, organize, teach, implement and coach the restorative and QAPI activities.
Determine and ensure appropriate nursing care levels to meet the clinical needs of the Elders.
Make rounds to assess quality service, performance and teamwork.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
