Dementia Care Training – NEW Regs

In the last Legislative session, Colorado passed a law increasing the standards for training relevant to dementia care in covered facilities, meaning Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, and Adult Day Care.

The Health Department has submitted their final regulations for approval to bring us all into compliance with the new law, and it goes into effect October 1st, 2023.

We will have 120 days from that date to have our reg-compliant training done for all direct care staff.
