2020 CHCA Annual Business Meeting Details

Budget

In recognition of current circumstances, the approved budget holds membership dues flat from 2020.  The budget assumes that CHCA will downsize its office space.  Taking advantage of the expiration of our current lease, the association will be moving to a smaller office space in December of 2020 and will plan to host educational offerings virtually.  At the end of that lease term we will re-evaluate office needs.  The budget also assumes that there will be no large events in 2021 and that there will be no net revenue from those events.  At this point it is unclear if large gatherings will be allowed in 2021, and whether care providers would want to gather in large numbers if it is allowed.  We will continue to monitor the guidance of local governments and sate public health officials and will work with the Board of Directors to determine a path forward.  Will do everything possible to host Spring Conference, Fall Convention, AL Conference and others as long as it is allowed and advisable.
