CHCA 2016 Legal Symposium a Big Success

We had a packed house on March 31st at the 2016 CHCA/CCAL Legal Symposium: a discussion of the proposed changes to the Medicare/Medicaid Requirements of Participation, or ROPs.

This important seminar included discussions from Fred Miles and Carol Manteuffel of event presenter Husch Blackwell, LP, Lyn Bentley of AHCA, and Annaliese Impink from SavaSeniorCare. There was also a vibrant panel discussion, led and moderated by CHCA General Councel Fred Miles, titled “Is This Reform Necessary and What Will It Cost?” The panel included Randy Kuykendall of CDPHE, Tom Massey of HCPF, and Janet Snipes of NHA.

Thanks go out to our breakfast sponsors, Rehab Solutions, Pharmerica, and Medical Equipment & Supplies of America (MESA), as well as everyone who took the time to get some information and context surrounding the proposed changes to the Medicare/Medicaid Requirements of Participation with us.

As the proposed changes are moved forward, you can continue to count on CHCA/CCAL to bring you the information and education to make sure you and your community are ready.
