Caring People, Touching Lives

Care Matters More Than Ever

Your Voice Helps Shape The Future of Long Term Care Public Policy

There is an election in November and whether you are political  or not and whether you care about who gets elected or not,  if you belong to CHCA you have no choice but to take a vested interested in our political funding.  Who gets elected is critical to how our members are treated in the State budget and legislation that passes.

CHCA/CCAL Challenge To Member Long Term Care Facilities

  • If we just collected just $100.00 from every member facility that would be about $20,000.

  • Form a PAC Champions Committee in Your Facility
You only need 10 staff members to donate $10.00 each and complete the Small Donor Pac Form and submit your PAC Committee Contributions to CHCA.
      Be the First Facility!

Remember the maximum donation from one person is $50.00 so if facilities had 10 people give $10.00 that would be $100.00  It would be great if facilities could get a commitment from each of their department heads.  District Chairs are challenged to get the facilities in their district on board with this simple and cost effective means of supporting and fighting legislative issues and challenges on your behalf. The advantage of having a small donor committee is that our contributions to those candidates who support long term care are not limited to the $400 limit that applies to other PACs.

Become involved now.  Download the brochure and raise $100.00 for your facility.  We will post a listing of facilities that complete their goal of $100 and we will also provide special donor ribbons at Fall Convention identifying your support among your peers and a PAC Champions Certificate of Appreciation.
